About us

Pataki Tiles is a ceramics studio specialized in architectural ceramics.

Our tile shop manufactures hand made floor and wall tiles following authentic production methods.

We do restoration and are flexible to meet your custom requirements.

The studio is located in Szeged, a warm and friendly University town in Hungary, 190 kms south from Budapest. The young team of four has been doing art, crafts and design projects for more than fifteen years, in various fields.

Our founder, Mathias Pataki is a multi sided craftsman who masters clay, metal, and wood with same uniqueness and talent. Together with his British partner they have been involved in a number of restoration projects in England working on period houses of different eras and styles. Today Mathias is running the studio at his home in Hungary.
